Thomas R. Hitchner (founder and partner emeritus)

Tom joined QuestMark at its founding and served as a general partner in Funds I and II. Prior to QuestMark, he began the Private Equity Group of Alex. Brown & Sons and served for 11 years as its senior member. His responsibilities included selecting, analyzing, structuring, marketing and monitoring private equity placements for which Alex. Brown acted as placement agent. Tom graduated magna cum laude from Harvard University in 1974.

Tom has been a member or active observer on the boards of Commission Junction, SpeechWorks, Netbotz, Courion, Vurv, RealLife HR, RF Code and others.
